S1 upper steering column bushes

Hi. I am at a loss on how to fix the upper steering column to the aluminium looking bracket . I know it uses the bushes C15182 (SN Barratt) and bolts but does the bush have a metal insert . I cannot seem to find a diagram either in the workshop manual or Haynes book. As we are building this car from scratch it would have been great if we had an order of things to do so as not to have to remove things again . I have read some like fitting the water pipes that go through the bulkhead etc but some days we seem to take more off than put on . I know now if I build another one I will save a lot of time . I've never actually had to replace a set as they seem to be virtually indestructible, however all you would do is push the bush through so that the flanges on each end are poking out the hole.

There's no metal insert from memory; the bolt just goes through the hole. All it does is provide a little bit of damping for the column so that it's not rigidly bolted to the bodywork. The washers are extra large; big enough in diameter to cover the rubber completely.
