#1 Redline mt90 v motul 300

Post by Freddie116 » Mon May 10, 2021 10:19 am

Hi. Can’t get hold of any Redline MT90 for my series 1 4.2 gearbox as there seems to be a world shortage. I have been recommended Motul 300 as a replacement. Anyone have any views?

Hi,
No, not heard of it or used it. However, if you’re prepared to wait a few days, Merlin Motorsports and Demon Tweeks are taking orders.

Freddie,

I used Shell Spirax 80-90w GL4 -- IIRC the MT90 is a 75-80w ? --- .

A gift at £8.90p for 2x litres

Thanks. I’m afraid demon tweaks etc are in the same boat as everyone else with the mt90 - no stock - website defaults to that message. Thanks for the other spiral suggestion.
