Hi

My headlining came as a foam/cloth combination with cloth only for the side rails and header rail.

I think I would fit the foam to the cloth first as that way you're only lying on your back in a small car engulfed in adhesive fumes the once.

Definitely easier to fit the cloth to the foam with gravity on your side. The foam/cloth combination will be much easier to handle in the confines of the car too.

Good luck with the job. I found the main roof area was easier to do than the sides. Watch for the dust coming off the cloth, it's awful when it gets in your eyes.

Regards
Stuart

I glued the foam to the roof first, my theory being that it would be very difficult to make sure the headlining was wrinkle free if it was glued to the foam first.
