Hi All, wondering if anyone has previously set the camber angle for the front end without the bonnet fitted as it is a much easier job before mudshields and bonnet are re-fitted. I currently have 1.25 degree positive camber with no shims fitted and are wondering how much the weight of the bonnet will affect the final camber reading as i am looking for 0.5 degree negative as a final setting. No water or oil in engine at present but about to go in soon also. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided

Hi Paul...You could use the setting links as per the service manual for setting camber....or if you want to do the actual camber with car in mormal driving position then.l don't know how much it changes without the bonnet.....you could load a few bags of builders sand for weight.....Steve..ps bonnet is approx 60kg

While you could do this ,it's irrelevant.

Once you have the car fully assembles and fuelled with fuel as per the manual, only then can you set the camber etc.
