#1 1/4 window seal (S1 FHC)

Post by phoenix » Wed Oct 06, 2021 3:02 pm

I presume the rather flimsy rubber seal is fixed (glued) to the opening rather than the window .
I am a novice building an E type from scratch . I have built quite a few other British and foreign cars but never an E. This forum has been very useful ,the manual is ok but it dose not help with this sort of thing .
Starting it next week the first time for 24 years before we put the bonnet on .

No Bryan it's not glued , it fits in a seperate channel shaped trim--- item 47 in the picture off of Robeys website and NLA. Part numbers and diagram will be in your Workshop Parts Manual
