#1 3 and 4 Way Brake Unions

Hi,
Does the anyone know the original finish on the brass 3 and 4 way brake unions? All are brass on restored cars but mine may have had a cad. deposit before I vapour blasted them. Haddock also shows a 4 way with a grey deposit although it is very dirty. Thanks,
