#1 FHC window frame

Do it need to be concerned about the kink in the rear leg of the frame.
Or shall I straighten it before refitting.

Why dont you see if a piece of glass will slide freely up and down inside the frame?

If it does, then I would be tempted to fit the frame and glass in the door and see it it will shim up ok.
Its true, but Enzo never said it

Glass slides up and down without any tight spots, providing you keep it true, if not it has a tendency to jam.

The frame fits the opening quite well

They are often bent like this to get them to line up properly.

If it fits into the door and the glass slides OK I would not change it.

It's kinked like that to miss the door lock. You will notice that the bottom 2-3" of the glass is also kinked to align with the shape of the frame. The section below the kink is parallel to the front section of the frame. As the glass slides down, the part above the kink moves forward out of the frame channel, the bottom 2-3" keeps it it the channel.

It would all fit together a lot easier if the PO got the basics right.
Much cursing and swearing was done but progress has been made.

And this has now been shaped to fit the contour so the next piece can fit where it’s supposed to
