Hi All. Sorry for the seemingly simple question however I've searched on here and elsewhere on the internet and I can't seem to find the answer. Is the far right switch on the switch panel (1970 S2 2+2) marked 'Rear Window' for a heated rear screen? It doesn't appear to do much.

Many thanks

Stuart, yes it is. There is an inline fuse of 15 amps (irrc) behind the drop down panel that my need replacing if your rear window heater isn’t working. Also a good check of all connections along the way may show up an open circuit. On mine one of the wires attached to the rear window was open circuit and I had to make up a new connection.

Do you have the owners manual with the wiring diagrams?

See also the topic listed below by “mgcjag” that’ll help a lot.

Thats very helpful - thanks. I've downloaded the diagrams that were posted up on here so I will work through that. I don't have an original hard copy but I think the downloads will suffice.
