My XJS has been pulling to the left on braking, so today I rebuilt the front calipers.
On disassembly one of the pistons was rusted and stuck; the car has sat idle for the last 10 years.
A couple of hours work and problem solved.
But. Man those brakes are good!
Every time anyone posts about E type brake "upgrades" I've always stuck to the party line that functional standard E type brakes are good enough and don't need "upgrading". Part of me wishes that my E Types stopped like my XJS though. Or went around corners like it..
It's taken a lot of work, but this XJS is slowly turning out to be a really nice car.

S3 etype brakes are very good. Roadworthy inspection brake test, always get comment from impressed inspectors.
Cornering another story, hoping my uprated front and rear roll bars will do improve this ...
