My XJS has been pulling to the left on braking, so today I rebuilt the front calipers.
On disassembly one of the pistons was rusted and stuck; the car has sat idle for the last 10 years.
A couple of hours work and problem solved.
But. Man those brakes are good!
Every time anyone posts about E type brake "upgrades" I've always stuck to the party line that functional standard E type brakes are good enough and don't need "upgrading". Part of me wishes that my E Types stopped like my XJS though. Or went around corners like it..
It's taken a lot of work, but this XJS is slowly turning out to be a really nice car.
