#1 Availability of original tie straps

Post by DWW » Thu Mar 31, 2022 12:31 pm

Does anyone know whether the original or after market cable ties to the space frame are still available and if so who sells them.

The straps are available from most of the suppliers - I’m sure I got mine from SNG. If you have an early car, the studs should be white (not black)!and these are very hard to find. I had to order online from a small hardware store in the US to get them.

Edit: looks like sng can get the white studs now.

Yes, it may be worth contacting SNG since I was able to buy a "concours" strap kit from them which not only had white studs but also had a rubber-based strap which could (a) stretch a bit and (b) would not cut into the paint on the frames like the standard plastic strapping kit can do. It works very well.

The part number for that is C17001/2/1.

Hi, thanks for that. I managed to source the correct ones (with the white buttons) locally from Norman Motors here in London.
