#1 rust proofing E Type box sections.

Post by skodajag » Sun Oct 31, 2010 6:01 pm

I've recently acquired a series 2 FHC and have just joined the Forum. I want to rust proof the car. Mostly of course it's obvious what needs to be done. But I specifically want to inject Waxoil - or probably Dinitrol -- into the box sections. I'm wondering if there's an article or Forum contribution which will guide me to the various box sections, especially the one's which I might overlook, and how best to access them - including the best place to drill access holes. My sense is that Dinitrol has better "creep" properties than Waxoil, but I'd also be interested in members' views of what's best to use.

Any and all advice much appreciated,
Jonathan
