My 4.2 Coupe suffers from a build-up of exhaust fume deposit on the underside of the boot. The pipes end level with the face of the reversing light. Is there a specific protrusion dimension of the pipes to stop this build-up happening? Thanks for any detail.

Mine does that too. I think it’s a ‘feature”!

Yes, I agree that it is an inherent characteristic of the car. The problem seems to be that it is nothing like as "low drag" as the shape suggests ( IIRC the coefficient is something like 0.44 ) and therefore it sucks the exhaust along with it - hence the rather more serious problem of fumes in the car in some cases
