Hi Bill

I do need to test the slave cylinder before I put it on the car, that’s kind of the downside with the concentric type, if it fails it’s an engine out job.

Interesting of that bleed nipple, how do you get to it?
There should just be enough space to get to it via a square hole in the clutch cover. I'll be testing it can be done so I know the clutch is disengaging correctly before I fit the engine and gearbox.

Hello Paul,
In the majority of cases a remote bleeder pipe is provided with the Throw Out bearing unit, that is secured to the Bell Housing for access to it on the outside of the Bell Housing. The one I have for the conversion we are currently involved with has such a bleeder pipe that is circa 8" long. You can have one made easily enough.

Regards,

Bill

That's a really good idea to put in a remote bleeder. Should be straight forward enough to make up the parts.
