#1 RVI 4610/01 tachometer.

Post by Stevejaguar » Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:01 pm

Hi I have this tacho ready to go into my series 1 2+2 which now has 123 ignition. The wiring has been modified previously so that it is wired the same as a series 2. Couple of questions.
What is this tacho originally off? A series 2 ?
Will it work with a 123 ignition.
Thanks
Steve

You only have to google the tach number......it was used in S2.....RVI can have problem with 123.....you mentioned before .... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17048&p=139819#p139819

Thanks, I had googled the tacho number and got references to a 420 and mark 2 Jaguars, nothing about series 2 E-types. As for my previous post I had completely forgotten about that. When I did a search last night it didn't pop up .
Thanks for the info, it needs sorting before I re fit it.
