#1 Oil pressure sender and ignition warning light

Hi, series 1, 2+2
My car is not fitted with the 3AW relay for the ignition warning light. I believe that is correct for a 1966 car.
On the top of the oil filter housing is the sender unit for the oil gauge. It has a pair of spade terminals. To one I have white /brown wire that goes to the oil pressure gauge and that works fine.
To the other terminal I have nothing. I presume that the brown/black wire that goes the ignition warning light should be on this terminal. Is that correct? This wire seems to be missing at this end. Where does it come out of the wiring loom?
Thanks for any help after another frustrating day.
Steve

The brown/black wire goes to the ignition warning light switch.

Thanks, but does the black/brown wire go onto the second terminal on the oil pressure gauge sender?
I have found it at the ignition warning light end providing an earth to the light but I don't have a black / brown wire anywhere near the sender unit.

Hi Steve...the oil sender unit typically has a double spade connector on top.....but only has one wire back to the oil guage......the oil pressure switch on tne side of the block also only has one wire back to tne ignition lamp....as per the diagram above...Steve
