Joey,

When I was running adjustable dampers (Aldans, not Gaz) I settled on the rears set just a bit softer (1 or 2 clicks I don't remember). There are 4 of them in the rear, managing about the same weight as the front, so having a different setting between F/R doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Of course the basic damper characteristics might be different between the front and rear, depending on how the manufacturer built them. I.e. are the Gaz rear damper internals completely unique to the E type or are they more generic?

I arrived at my preferred settings by driving the same road loop over and over, starting with coarse changes (2 clicks) to 'bracket' the acceptable, then fine tuned 1 click at a time. It takes awhile

These days I'm running adjustable perch (not adjustable jounce/rebound) rear dampers from Speedway Motors. They are designed for lightweight hot rods (~2500lbs) and seem to work well with my car which weighs about 120lbs less than stock, most of that weight removed from the front end.

Thanks Steve clicked up to 4 all round, I think you might be right , one or two clicks in the rear less.
The wheelbase is so short that too stiff all round can get bouncy, almost there.
What an upgrade though.

There are 16 settings
Took all morning and went way up to 10
All round
I was bouncing like a buck board🤣
Down and down
5 is now the NEW sweet spot!
I need an alignment now
Play with the camber
Im getting too spoiled , im trying to run like a 2022 Mclaren but it’s just to old😍🤣
I love the set up
Now at 3 it’s all over the road so 5 for now
Then
Alignment and re dial
