#1 brake servo 4.2 series 1.5 full of oil

Folks, took the back off the servo, got a quart of oil that came out, is that rite??? thought it worked
on vacuum, hummm, looked on u tube nothing that that shows this unit, is there a video somewhere
that a forum member has made on this??? yes I have the book, but sure would like to watch a video,
looked on this site and found 684 pages but no mention of a video (found a 63 video but not my unit) Thanks Mike.

Is it oil or brake fluid which is more likely.

Whichever it is it’s not meant to be there. Should be dry for vacuum.

It will be a faulty seal in the servo hydraulic cylinder, which will allow the vacuum in the servo chamber to suck fluid through from the hyraulic side .A rebuild of the hydraulic cylinder is needed
