Folks, basket case engine, got it in parts, bought kit for timing gear (chains/sliders/tensioner) which had no spring in it, which I guess I must reuse old one, I have just put the gear/chains together and slid on front of block, there is a hole between the two front studs, what is this hole for?? is there a screw or hex nut that goes in?
or is this hole for oil to lub stuff, looked in parts book and video's, no mention of hex or what the little
hole between stud holes is for on front of engine. 4.2 engine series 1.5
basket case, timing gear install series 1.5
