#1 Rear quarter light glasses.
I am about to fit the rear quarter light frames into my Series 2 FHC, I did not remove them when the car was stripped 10 years ago so have no information re. the correct method of fitting, most importantly I do not know if the riveted in frame has any form of sealant between it and the body of the car. Any info. would be very gratefully received.

Jack, I can’t answer your prime question but one thing to be aware of is the alignment of the frames influences the fit of the doors. So be careful to make sure you allow for this. Your doors might have super fit to the body with perfect gaps, but when you put the door window frames in they may clash with the quarter light frames with the doors now not fitting as well as you had them. I hope this helps when you are doing the work.

Hi....when you say "frame" do you just mean the channel that the rubber seal fits into.....its rivited on....you may need to fettle your rivit gun to get it in the channel.....yes sealer under the channel.........Steve viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16604&p=136448&hili ... el#p136448
