Well, after a few hours of trying to figure out why some wires did not seem to be in the rite place I noticed all the gauges are in reverse order, then the switches at the ends of panel reversed . HAAA, the light just
came on, this was once a right hand drive car, but when I got it all pedals and column were on left side,
yep I'm in Canada, left hand drive, I think I can just reverse all the stuff in the middle (gauges/switches)
and everything should be fine, but.... does anyone know what other surprises I may find with the
wire harness that are different??? wire now I cannot find the wires for the 3aw unit, maybe the last guy cut it all out, thanks Mike (67 fhc)
discovered why I have wire issues.

It is quite possible that your car has at a previous time been fitted with a later type of alternator that had a built in regulator and a warning light control module. Lucas ones were designated as 15 or 16 or 17ACR units and were common amongst BL cars and others.
