I‘m swapping the original US-Differential to a 3.07 unit, the IRS is out. The rubber V-mounts I have are about 8mm higher than the originals. Is this due to the old part settling, or may I have wrong parts? I don‘t mind wrestling them in, but will the added height be a problem once the IRS is back in? The width of the new parts ist 3.5mm wider than the originals, that though is an easy fix with a vise.
