Hi all. I am in the process of a full rewire with wonderful new looms from Autosparks and am not sure with the route for the rear body harnesses to the tail, number plate and reverse lights. I have the wires and connectors to above the fuel tank filler and the opposite side to the fuel pump but i am not quite sure where they run from there. Doing a bit of searching there appears to be a few options. I have a 1967 2+2 with heated rear window and would love some advice or even a photo or two.

Peter, have you looked at the diagram of the harness routing in the electrical section of the manual (see knowledge base)? Figure 44 shows it, now that is for the FHC not 2+2, but I’m sure with a bit of laying out the extra wires for the RWH, etc, you’ll find where they can fit. My S2 FHC has the RWH wires on the left, same side as the wires to the fuel tank. As for the brake lights, they are on the right with extension over to the left.
I hope that can help you try a few things out.

All sorted. I have discovered i have some missing bend up tabs and extension wires and just wanted to be sure before installing the petrol tank again.
