#1 3.8 indicator switch

Post by david muir » Wed May 24, 2023 12:59 pm

Hi, looking at my indicator switch after ignoring its non- cancelling for 20 odd years!
I have the early 3.8 type with the ‘return striker’ C.16451 which does not look as if it can ‘reach’ the moving nylon part on the switch- is there any adjustment available( does not look as if there is!)

David,
I think your nylon cancelling fingers are not right:

To me they look like the ends have broken off.

Well that explains it perfectly! Are these nylon "fingers" available?
Thanks.

Yes, it is called an "action spring" and is available from SNG Barratt and others.

I think there is a "how to" guide somewhere on here but I couldn't find with a quick search.

Regards
Stuart
