Surely, sooner or later these incidents will be the end of the BEV craze ? Not the least frightenening is the blowtorch effect to the side seen on quite a number of the incidents, not to mention the poor chap apparently electrocuted

Geoff , I'm sorry but I'm not computer literate enough to do that. I've tried to find a substitute, but have failed so far

No problem. I assume it is about lithium ion battery fires. In the boating world I have read cautionary advice warning that if you have lithium ion battery storage banks you can only expect a fire to go out when you slip below the waves. No personal experience though.
