Post by autoalain » Tue Nov 05, 2024 12:37 pm

Folks, are these silicone hose kits good ? has anyone installed them on their XKE?? would it hurt
value of car? I want to change all the of hoses and this does offer a cheaper way to go for me. Thanks Mike.

I don't know what your looking at but silicone hoses are typically far more expensive that the standard type...however Fossway silicone hose kits are good https://www.fossewayperformance.co.uk/e ... one-hoses/

I run silicone hoses, and they work well and are long lived. But make sure you are using the multi layer reinforced hoses designed for automotive applications instead of the thin wall single layer generic hose available online. You comment that silicone hose is cheaper is at odds with my experience. Typically, quality silicone hose kits will be significantly more expensive as noted by Steve/mgcjag.
