Definitely a 123 dizzy.....you can get black caps for them but they are hard to find and expensive....my guess would be its not a correct 123 cap.....funny though iv just painted a couple of the orange caps black....Steve

Hello,
This morning I received my new rotor arm, rotor cap and red dot coil that I ordered from 123 Ignition.
I replaced everything and notice that the black cap that was on my car was clearly faulty (the center pin fell off while I was removing the cap from the distributor). The new cap I received from 123 Ignition is red/orange and is lighter than the black cap.
I then went for a 25 km test drive and things are much better but not perfect. I didn't get the usual cut off (before the rotor arm/cap/coil change it would have stalled at least 7 times) and the engine revved up to nicely 4500/5000.
However it did misfire twice after revving up the engine, felt like it was running on 3 cylinders for a few seconds (40/50 seconds) before getting back to normal as I gear down...
Any idea what it could be ?

Thanks a lot for your support, things are already much better and I love making these beautiful cars run better !
