I used Weather Strip adhesive from 3M, it's not easy to find outside of the States but it sometimes turns up on ebay. Beware of the B post rubber sold by a very large Jag parts supplier - they must have worked hard to produce a completely adhesive resistant rubber
I can recommend the rubber seals from COH Bains

Try this stuff: http://www.car-hood.co.uk/content.php?n ... 50&pID=916 - Alphabond 1378
or these: http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-304-adhesive.aspx - the Alphabond AF176 in particular.
Wash/wipe down the rubber seal with switch cleaner or other solvent to remove all traces of MRA (mould release agent) before gluing.

I saw their impressive collection of rubber profiles.
The question is, which do I order for the S1 E-type?
They obviously don?t have a bundled set with all the parts.
The bad ones are the horizontal ones against the lower door edge and the vertical ones against the door?s rear end, at least on my car.
Perhaps the cut ones on the soft top frame, against the door windows.
Merry Christmas !

Peder,
Give them a call and ask for their brochure of Jaguar rubber. I have found them very easy to deal with.
