Hi,
I am fitting a new dash wiring harness to my 66 4.2 RHD roadster. I would like to know how the branch of the loom which contains the wiper motor, rev counter and starter solonoid wires is routed through the bulkhead. Does anyone have any photographs of the correct setup.
Thanks,
David

David ; the solenoid and wiper harness usually go through a large grommeted hole on the upper part of the right hand side of the gearbox casing/footwell. It is hard to photograph, but is best described as being adjacent to the top inner frame to bulkhead fastening . From recollection, my tacho wires just went as a separate subloom through a small grommet in the front face of the bulkhead not far from , and somehwat below , the tacho generator . In better light tomorrow I shall go and check

Christopher,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have seen a hole where you describe on some cars just on the inside of the transmission tunnel next to the mounting for the upper/inner engine frame attachment point in line with the flywheel. On my car I don't have a hole in this position, but my car has been rebuilt sometime ago with a new bodyshell so it may not be exactly as standard. If I need to it shouldn't be too difficult to drill a hole there. The loom 'branch' does seem to point in that direction, but it may not be possible to route it so the under-dash panels fit flush.
Thanks,
David
