The junction of the various components at the rear end of the sill, where it joints the wing and the wheel-arch, is one, I am told by Jaguar professionals, that can be a bit messy to seal up.
Much recourse to PU sealant is then disguised with stone-chip paint and - basta ! - Bob's Your Uncle.
Having had some success in the past making small parts from PU-HD sheet, cut from 20L plastic cans, using nothing more than a vise and a heat gun, I knocked up these discrete deflectors to protect these areas more convincingly.
No claim to anything revolutionary or particularly clever, but it might give others confidence to try this method for other areas where there are vulnerable zones.
The rear wheel-arch sealing panel then covers the top of the deflector.
