Hi, are there any spray on products that might prevent rocker cover and carb corrosion over winter? Thanks

ACF50....bit like WD40 but ever so slightly more oily...wipe over aluminium and chrome surfaces...does a good job...

ACF50 is wonderful stuff, and is widely used in aviation preservation. It is streets ahead of WD40 , but it does need to be wiped over the surface for best and lasting results

I was about to vote for WD40, whose smell has accompanied my every mechanical activity for 50 years.
But 5 minutes ago I ordered my first ever can of ACF50.
Nowadays, you just can't escape these Influencers on the web.

I was first introduced to ACF50 twenty years ago when it was fairly unheard of in the UK. One piece of advice given to me back then is to place it on the radiator as it sprays much easier when warm.

You can buy it in an aerosol can or just as the oil...it's mauve. Pop in a £1 garden spray and off you go...

Do we assume this took 50 tries to get right vs 40?

Too much internet “truth” to the meaning of 40.
WD40 is a water dispersant and has been beaten in many tests.

Having tried them both and others, the ACF wins hands down. But that’s imho fwiw

I’ve used this for long enough with good winter protection;
