No eye protection! Yikes

When I was doing my engineering training I witnessed a young apprentice at work on a milling machine when the cutter fractured and smashed like a bullet into his safety glasses. Glasses destroyed, eyes protected. Imagine losing an eye at 17 years old. I will never use any kind of metalworking machinery without eye protection.

I second your comment Jeremy. When using any machinery metal working or wood working, safety glasses are a must and second nature to wear them. This was instilled in me as an apprentice fitter a long time ago. You only have one pair of eyes.
