#1 S1Air/Oil separator on breather?

I have the stock crankcase breather system on my 3.8 S1. Front of head to plenum. Always gets rather nasty in there.
It would be easy to plumb in an Air/Oil separator canister to that circuit while leaving it connected to the plenum.
Would the weak pull/push of the stock breather circuit function through a small canister keeping the oil fumes and moisture out of the intake?

I have a small oil seprator, basically a small aluminium container with a filter on top. Internals in the container are separating fume and drops. Drops collected in the container which can be emptied with a small ball valve mounted in the bottom. Easy and straightforward, comes with adjustable mounting bracket.
Bought the complete separator on-line, if you aare interested I will dig up wwhhere I bought it

The stock breather system is a pretty good air/oil separator, assuming you still have the screen in place behind the breather adaptor plate. If you are getting too much oil mist into your intake plenum, it's more likely to be caused by excessive crankcase pressure/blowby.
You can also just run an atmospheric breather, similar to the earlier XK engines. I run a variation of that at the moment, only because I haven't yet adapted the breather system to my non standard air cleaner. It uses an aftermarket alloy valve cover vent in an XJ6 breather adaptor plate.

Well I don't really want to run a breather to the atmosphere. I want to keep it going to the plenum but was interested in whether or not there was enough flow to prevent it from being stopped by the separator.
Not an excess of crud in the plenum but it is there and would rather not have those fumes getting sucked back into the intake.
Guess if you have a separator with a filter on top to atmosphere and it works it would work fine still going to the plenum through a separator with the little vacuum it provides to move things along.
