#1 Upgraded 3.8 clutch reservoir - did I imagine it?

I'm pretty sure that I once read about an upgrade being developed for the round clutch reservoir on 3.8s. It was to be strengthened where the flexipipe fits in order to avoid the problem of them cracking there. Can't find any for sale. Did anything ever come of this?

I think that SNG now sell them with the hose attached to prevent splitting.Maybe also they fit the spigot inside the reservoir.

I’ve also heard that Fosseway can supply an aluminium unit but it’s not on their website
Series 1 FHC purchased 50 years ago. Courted my wife in it.
Series 1 2+2 when the kids were small now sold.
Series 1.5 OTS in opalescent maroon, Californian car. My retirement present.

It’s Clayton Classics that do the aluminium round bottles 👍
