Hi all
Please can anyone tell me how much the throttle butterflies should open on the first operation of the choke? There seem to be four distinct notches on the action, the first is minimal movement and seems to just take up cable slack, the 2nd is where it seems the butterflies should open slightly, 3 and 4 lower the jet. Should the initial throttle gap be something like 2 thou before the jet lowers? I have adjusted the fast idle screws to give 2 thou gap when the car is warm but seem to be struggling to get the butterflies to open before the jet lowers (i.e action 3 of the choke operation). All advice appreciated thanks.
Colin.

Thanks Steve, they seem to be fine when warm. It’s just the choke operation that doesn’t seem quite right. I understand how it should work (I think) I just can’t seem to get the butterflies opening early enough in the sequence. I’ll play around some more.
