Front Brake Anti-Chatter clips

Have recently been checking my front brakes - S2 2+2, and when putting the pads back in I wasn't sure which side of the pads the anti-rattle/chatter clips go.
Logically I thought it would be on the piston side, but can't find any definitive pictures or description on here or the web. All the parts drawings are not clear and there are pics of them on either side of the pad!
Can anyone confirm?

Thanks Steve. Think I had seen that and have installed them on the disc side, however the S2 service manual shows this, which seems to put them on the piston side.
Probably doesn't make any difference to their functioning, but surprised its not shown somewhere!

Hi Geoff,
I don't see why you would put the majority of the anti rattle spring clip on the piston side particularly as you should have a pin retaining clip on this side (item 10 in your diagram ref).
Some diagrams aren't that accurate BTW. Here's another pic for you.
