#1 Engine oil leak cured

My Series 2 has been suffering from a rear main oil leak for a number of years, but only after a motorway run when thoroughly hot.
I have recently changed the engine oil from 20w50 to 20w60 (Westway because of high zddp content).
The only spec difference I can see is that 20w60 retains better viscosity when hot.
After a 50 mile, mostly motorway trip today, the leak appears to have stopped, previously there would have been a small but significant pool of oil under the car, and all over the exhaust.
If, like me, you are struggling with a hot oil leak this may help
