The black paint has come adrift but thankfully the white script is in place. It would be easier to buy them new but the script is quite different on the new ones so I'm hoping to make these good.

I wonder if others have attempted this. Have been trying to work out how they were made originally and the only method I can come up with is that the discs were sprayed matt black on the reverse side then engraved and finally applying the white paint over the black.

Have been searching for other posts but none have come up...

I renovated mine with white Tamiya acrylic modellers paint carefully brushed into the grooves…with black where the edges of the letters were not perfectly outlined/chipped

Fine modellers brushes and build up the layers gradually
