I have the original Ekco CR 922 radio in my car,in an attempt to in improve the signal without interference. I fitted some NOS suppressors to the coil and dynamo,no improvement, but left them on.Fast forward a few years ,poor cold starting became an issue if left for more than a week.Tried everything to cure no avail then I read that do not radio suppressors with a 123 distributor so removed them ,starts first time now,You learn by your mistakes.
