#1 Washer jet replacement..

Post by Paul bow » Mon Apr 06, 2026 5:39 am

Hi guys, unbelievably both the directional adjustment nozels have broken in the main body of my washer jets.
Only 2 years old! Should have used the 60 year old originals.
looks like a pig of a job, anyone got any advice on fitting them or maybe a clever remedy?
Thanks in advance 👍

Use jets from a 2+2 that have two jets each.

Use silicon rather than PVC washer hose.

Find someone with small hands to help.

Connect the hose to the jet and feed the hose in from outside the car. Slide the nut back up along the hose from the inside so the hose guides the nut onto the end of the jet.

Consider fitting a small O ring to the base of the washer jet to help seal it to the scuttle.
