Hi all
I have just finished rebuilding my rear suspension and upgrading the brakes to zeus 4 pot calipers,
after deliberation and reading many posts on this forum I decided to set the rear hubs in slight preload, I aimed for zero to 2 thou of preload, after 25 miles of driving the hubs are fairly warm, I can however still keep my hand on the aluminium hub carriers with no discomfort, what are peoples thoughts, hubs too tight or just right
Many thanks
Ian

Can't say iv ever put hand on to feel if they are hot....does the wheel turn fairly easy or is it binding......I set my rear hubs to zero.....but it takes care to do it....very easy to get these wrong....Steve

I need to jack up the back and try the wheels again, the whole assembly was tight I thought, I had the diff rebuilt by Alan Slawson which was hard to turn by hand and I felt the oil seals in the hubs were dragging on the bearings, now I have done 50 miles I will check again and see how it is
