#1 Video of s2 lhd engine bay needed

Post by Philip D » Sun Aug 16, 2026 3:24 pm

Hi all, I am struggling to make sense of the Haynes manual pictures and identify the missing bits I need for my car. I have to go shopping and buy parts but cannot really do so as a novice jag owner I have a box of spares that include milking machine parts (I found to my embarresment recently !).

Could someone please send me a slow video of their engine bay from a s2 lhd car. I can provide an email of whatsapp number if this forum will not allow so much data use. Loooking at the brake from the pedal box onwards is confusing me !

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil....you may get lucky and someone may send you a video.....however what are you after.....identifying what you currently have....or how a lhd should be...or converting to rhd......we have a huge amount of images in the restoration section and Google is full of engine bay images and videos .....Steve

Phil, please buy the original owners workshop manual, sections of it are in the technical section of the knowledge base. Download and print those pages for what you are working on but owning the manual is very important rather than relying on the Haynes.
Also useful is the SNG Barratt parts catalogue, you’ll pay for it but it’s worth it for the useful diagrams. It’ll help you identify parts as well as choosing which you need to buy. They aren’t always the best price, so some shopping around is useful.
Are you a member of the JEC? For you’ll get discount on parts from Barratt’s et al. Worth the membership fee.
Does Jaglovers have anything to help, it’s a US based website so there’ll be more sinister cars there.
