#1 Gearbox tunnel foam orientation?

Post by Stevemorris » Sun Sep 20, 2026 3:40 pm

Hi all,

I got some foam for the gearbox tunnel which I'll try and cut to a similar shape to the original.

Question is, orientation? Is the hole in the end for the gear stick? Is this how it should be? Seems a little close to the prop to me?

Thanks, Steve.

Brilliant! Thanks Steve. Like you I bought a piece of foam for a fiver, and I'll be shaping it like this OE one.

Cheers mate, Steve.
