#1 S2 Seat runners...

Hi. Have just joined as a new Forum member and posted this question in the welcome section (sorry!) I had my seat runners on my S2 OTS re-plated and the platers have cut the wire which joins the two seat adjustment mechanisms together. Does anyone know where I can get replacement wire to repair them? I have heard that TIG welding wire would be suitable as it doesn't stretch - is that right?
