Hi all,
I want to install an electronic distributor 45D6 and amplifier from a XJ6 S3 to replace my 22D6 on my 3.8. I bought the kit from SNG.
Now I'm a bit confused. According to the spare parts manual of the E type I don't need a ballast resistor, but there is one on the car !?
On the XJ6, the manual shows one #DAC1563.
As for the coil, do I need the standard coil or the non constant energy or the constant energy ??
It appears that the older I get the less I remember about basics things.
Any help much appreciated.
