#1 Restoration measurements, help needed.

Hello.
I have a major problem which has stalled my restoration of a 1966 series 1, 4.2 OTS. The car was purchased some years ago as a project, the floors and sills had all but disintigrated. The front and rear of the car being loosely held together by the tunnel, no doors fitted so the car was a banana shape. We purchased a jig on which a concourse 4.2 FHC had been rebuilt and set about mounting the front and rear on said jig. We then bought a complete floor with inner sills already fitted and mounted this on the jig. So far so good all the holes mated up.(nothing has been welded as yet). We bought a pair of doors which are supposed to be from a series 1 4.2 OTS but they will not fit, being at least 3/8 of an inch to long.
So 12 months ago we walked out of the garage and closed the door and have tried since then to find some measurements which would allow us to carry on. We have a jaguar workshop manual but the measurements are of no use to us. Can anyone help with specific dimentions between fixed points on the front and rear bulkheads. door gaps etc. The jig may be wrong.(but i doubt it) The doors may be wrong but how do we tell, is there a difference between door lengths of certain ages or series.
Your help/suggestions/pointers would be much appreciated.
Regards Aston.
