#1 Hardi Fuel pump

Post by Mike L » Tue Oct 25, 2011 5:42 pm

My 69 has been fitted with Hardi J58 fuel pump
The car (and pump) have been off road for 15 years. I would like to service the pump, but can not find any documentation.
Has anyone documentation for this unit, or should it be replaced, if so what is the prefered choice of pump.

Never heard of it but the electronic (contactless) SU pump works brilliantly especially if you only drive the car occasionally. SNG sell them.

Very good German fuel pumps. Direct replacement of the SU. Built differently and less prone to breaking, say my German friends. Does not need to be tapped on the head after weeks/monhts of inactivity.
