Which B-Pillar door rubbers do work ?

I bought mine in a set „anything a 2+2 needs“, but they seem to be too stiff.

If I leave them away, the door locks nicely. With them fitted, the door prutrudes and does not shut properly.

Along the A pillar, I have installed the same rubber type which I used for the bonnet landing strip. That seems to be fine.

I found a youtube video saying „cut them smaller, thinner, until it works“, but in my case, the B pillar rubbers are of the hollow profile type, so that won’t help.

Is there a source of massive / non- hollow softer rubber seals ?

After an ill-fated attempt to fit rubber seals from the usuals I took the approach depicted in the first portion of this video. Rolls of rectangular foam seals are available (in the U.S.) from any home improvement store. It comes in the exact width to fit the channel and in various thicknesses. Per the video, I used it at the bottom of the door and the aft B pillar channel. Looks decent, the doors close, and it actually seals.

Okay I think I know that stuff- it´s called Armaflex? Black foam used to insulate air ducts and similar in buildings.

Or do you have a product name so I could compare?

Yes, it appears to be the same as Aramaflex. It's generically called foam weather stripping in the U.S. Black, rectangular cross section, adhesive on one edge...very inexpensive.
