I have a Series 1.5 which is fitted with the Series 2 radiator; twin fans and metal expansion tank attached to firewall.
At present I have 2 identical 7lb caps fitted. For some reason water just leaks out around the cap on the radiator. I don't think the caps are correct.
Can someone help me here?

Andrew:
The cap on the radiator is a plain, non-pressurized cap, i.e. just a rubber gasket to seal it. The non-AC equipped cars use a 7 lbs. pressure cap on the expansion tank, cars w/ AC use a 13 lbs. rated cap.
