#1 Replacing door glass

Post by john wyatt » Fri Mar 23, 2012 8:15 pm

I have today ordered glass for both sides of my '69 roadster, current glass has lots of vertical scratches which is quite annoying, the glass is less than ?50 a side which was surprisingly reasonable I thought! in any case have not looked at what they will be like to fit, does anyone have any previous experience?

John, not a difficult job once you have the winder mechanjsm out. The glass is in a channel held in place with a rubber strip. When I replaced mine, I glued them back in with black silicone.
